That is correct, if you use that your serializer would be a little bit less
generic.
There are some pretty good reasons there is no binary serialization in
NETCF, this one is probably the least important.

Activator.CreateInstance() calls the constructor of the obect, and
requires the object to have a parameterless constrcutor. So it is not a
solution for a genereic Deserlization class.
