Open Source Dotnet Community

Hello,

I am a dotnet developer and i would like to become more involved in open
source dotnet efforts and the community in general.

I see that there are many open source dotnet applications available all
over, but i was just wondering if there was a central website of some
sort where those wanting to participate can look up information,
communicate, etc.

gotdotnet is too biased by Microsoft
sourceforge is too biased towards linux

Is there a place where open souce dotnet developers can just post ideas,
souce, etc?

Thanks!

Hi Vinny

I like CodeProject (www.codeproject.com) which provides a great amount
of free resources though this might not be the place to find an existing
community.

To get involved, SourceForge is also a great place for .NET developers.
Regarding the fact that Linux *is* open sourceand .NET isn't too long on
the market, there is a great amount of .net projects available
(filtering for C# list 1300 projects). And you will find many open
projects on http://sourceforge.net/people/?category_id=1

Cheers, Philipp
