Could someone point me in the direction of a good example of coding
report printing from database tables through VB?
I have 5 tables that I need to run a report from. They are actually
very small, 1 - 8 columns wide, containing from 1 - 24 records in each
table. So by my estimation, the whole database, should print to a
single sheet of paper, if formated properly.
Problem is, in all the VB5, 6 books and tutorial sites that I've got or
visited, I can't find one, ONE, good example of printing, anywhere. Oh
sure, lots of stuff on the Printer Dialog object and what knot, but not
on what to do after you've got it.
Please, someone, point me in a direction, before I have no hair left? I
do admit, as you can see below, that I am new to this language, but I do
want to learn it, and learn it well. Any help is appreciated.

Look in the object browser - at the printer.
the printer has methods and properties
Printer.print "Hello Wrold" '**for instance
Printer CurrentX and CurrentY sets the 'cursor' anywhere on the page
printer.fontsize = 14
Printer.FontBold = True
these are sample lines which may give you a clue....
The printer object is the key - once you play with it awhile you'll be able
to
do reports with ease.
