XSLT validation

KL
Reposting since this forum might be more appropriate for my question.

I have written a simple piece of code in C# that takes a xml file as input,
applies a xsl transform and outputs a xml file.

I want to validate my output xml file against the xsl file to verify that
the output is as expected. How can i do this?

Thanks in advance!

You can validate the XML output against a DTD or schema, I don't
understand what you think a validation of an XML file against an XSL
file would do.

Hi everybody, so, I would like to use XML files for some parts of my website. I would like to respect W3C XHTML 1.1 recommendation. Then, I have these two docs : o My XML file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="cdcatalog.xsl"?>

I fear this might be a FAQ but I can't figure out how to google for it. Recently we had a big bug where the source that an XSL file acted on changed out from under it. Result, the XSL matched nothing and important content did not make it to the final destination. I was under the impression that an XSL could be told "You will be acting...

I am producing HTML from XslTransform (C#) and the HTML does not validate, see http://www.redburg.co.uk/mira/mira415_ev_wh_ch.html as an example. I am using the following XSLT code: <?xml version="1.0"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

Hi How can I easily ensure that Xml document has elements in certain order? I think it can be done with Xml schema, but I'd like to use Xslt, because the validation is a part of Xslt transformations. Xml document: <Root> <Foo/> <Bar/>

I need to perform an XSLT to set the namespace on some XML and I need to preserve the original document line formatting to assist with error handling (so the line number from any schema validation error matches the original line number). The original XML looks like this: <Head> <Body Val1="10" Val2="11" /> </Head>
