Can't transfer mdb file

I have a Win XP Home p2p network. When I try to transfer an mdb file from
one computer to the other computer (using Windows explorer), I get an error
that says "Cannot copy xxx: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full
(it isn't) or write protected (??) and that the file is not currently in use
(it isn't, Access isn't running)".

The folders on both machines are fully shared and files other than the mdb
in the folder can be transferred.

Any ideas on what causes this?

Right click on the Access file in Windows Explorer and click on properties in
the dialog that appears. Check the attributes at the bottom of the dialog to see
if it is write-protected.

Thanks

The option boxes available are Read Only and Hidden. Neither box is checked.
