Failed to import the ActiveX control. Why?

VS2005 upsets me more and more. Hopefully it is better when there is the
final release.

I get the following error message when I try to place a user control of an
OCX onto a form:
"Failed to import the ActiveX control. Please ensure it is proberly
registered."
The control was already on the form. But then I had to recompile it. Then
the reference is lost and the control was removed from the form. Okay. Then
I wanted to place it again onto the form but then the error occured.
However, when I create a new project I have no problem to place the user
control of the OCX onto a form.

Is this a bug? Or am I doing anything wrong?

Cheers,
Robert

I found a solution. I had to delete the bin and obj directory. Then it was
possible to place the user control onto my form.

But I think this is not like it should be. Is it a bug then?
