The easiest way would be for you to use a third party fax API solution.
Something like this:

If you dont want to use a third party API, you can always use windows
fax viewer.. its very simple and very steady. I have used it for my
project and it works just great. You will also be able to receive
faxes. Programming is very very simple.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...using_3u5v.asp

That will help you.

This is the code in VB it can be modified to .net (see how simple it
is)

'Initialise a few things
'sending Fax
Dim objFaxDocument As New FAXCOMEXLib.FaxDocument
Dim objFaxServer As New FAXCOMEXLib.FaxServer
Dim objSender As FaxSender
Dim JobID As Variant

'Receiving Fax
Dim WithEvents objFaxServer1 As FAXCOMEXLib.FaxServer
Attribute objFaxServer1.VB_VarHelpID = -1

Private Sub Form_Load()
objFaxServer.Connect ""
objFaxServer.ListenToServerEvents fsetIN_ARCHIVE Or fsetACTIVITY Or
fsetCONFIG Or fsetDEVICE_STATUS Or fsetFXSSVC_ENDED Or fsetIN_QUEUE Or
fsetINCOMING_CALL Or fsetNONE Or fsetOUT_ARCHIVE Or fsetOUT_QUEUE
'job entered archive
Set objFaxServer1 = objFaxServer
End Sub

Private Sub Command1_Click()
'Send a file-- sending COMPLETE
On Error GoTo Error_Handler
objFaxDocument.Body = Trim(Text1.Text) 'This should point to the
document or img to be sent
objFaxDocument.DocumentName = "My First Fax"
objFaxDocument.Priority = fptHIGH
objFaxDocument.Recipients.Add "TO_THE_NUMBER_YOU_WANT", "Bud"
objFaxDocument.AttachFaxToReceipt = True
objFaxDocument.Note = "Here is the info you requested"
objFaxDocument.Subject = "Today's fax"
JobID = objFaxDocument.ConnectedSubmit(objFaxServer)
Exit Sub
