layout configuration

hello all,

Iam using visual basic 2005 express edition to create a program to control Lego robots. I have been asked to include a layout configuration tool so that controls locations and labels can be changed. I have no clue where to start with this as this is my first VB project.
Any help would be much appreciated

Can you try to explain in a bit more detail what you want to achieve on the screen? And what you would like to happen?

Oh! That sounds as though it will be quite a bit of work, though it should not be impossibly difficult.

On the other hand, I believe I've heard of products (some years ago) which allow you to do that sort of thing fairly easily. It might be worth having a look around at places such as VideoSoft, Resize control, Elastic Window, or searching the web for a relevant search string such as "vb elastic control". (An "elastic" container is what I remember them being called, years back).
