Default JOB: Entry Level C++ Architecture/IC Design - Seattle

Ok,

So my company is recruiting. The gal from HR who was talking to me said that if I knew anyone and recommended them and they got hired I could get a $1000 bonus. We are looking for entry level platform engineers. You gotta be decent with C/C++ and have taken a pretty heavy course load in architecture or IC design, and know what assembly looks like (maybe read it but not necessiarly write it).

See whats cool about this job post is that, a) I'm not a crappy agency trying to get you on my contract payroll, b) you know who I am (kinda) since I am an established expert and c) *I* could get a thousand bucks!

The company is near Seattle, Washington State USA. So if you live near there, don't mind rain or bad traffic, or are thinking about relocating to one of the leanest cities in America then send me a PM or if you are serious I can give you my work email address and you can send me your resume.

Only people who are seriously interested, okay none of this wishy-washy stuff.

Like, you know...if you have previously built at least one application or driver in C++ I would say you are decent. And if you can read and understand a IC block diagram or schematic, that is about the skill level that is needed.

Hi Red,

I am a recent master graduate from the University of British Columbia. My specialization is in IC design. I did a 8-month coop work term at Nokia, developing phone applications using Symbian C++.

Do you think I am qualified for the job? If so, please send me your email address so I can send you my resume. By the way, I am a Canadian.

My email address is freddykw@interchange.ubc.ca

Thanks,

Fido

Fido,

Thanks for the interest, but I was told that we are only looking for US Citizens. I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. However I will remember this thread, and if at any time our policies change, I will try to look it up again and use the email link to email you :)

Sorry
