Convert date in Access 2003

Dear all,

hope to get lucky with you..

Have normal Access 2003 DB. It has a standard table with one column showing dates in DD.MM.YYYY format.

I hate that format and tries to convert it to standard: YYYY-MM-DD

I have used a SQL query that imports all posts without conditions to a new table, and then I have tried to use some SQL tricks to reformat the Column Date into the new format - but this doesnt really work for me.

Can you solve it with VBA?

Please impress me and give me some hints!

Hi Daniel

Set the format in the field of the table to "yyyy-mm-dd" and when using the sql to append ensure it by using Format([FieldName],"yyyy-mm-dd")
