MS Graph Chart Control...

2 New Member
Hi,
This is my first post here so please be patient.
Here is my question:
I am trying to include a chart in my VB form. I do it this way:
I drop the Microsoft Graph Chart Control (from Unbound Controls) on the form. Then I go to the code and try to type something like this:
olebound23.Application.DataSheet.Range("a1").Value = "75" 'stolen from MSDN
Here is the problem: olebound23.application doen not have a DataSheet member.
I 've spen 3days searching MSDN and could not figure out why my Microsoft Graph Chart Control does not have .Application.DataSheet member . Even though it has to have it according to MSDN. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks.

Hey there, Dear Intern!

You deserve a break and I am sure you are frustrated. I Googled your title and came up with this:

http://www.vb123.com/toolshed/99_graphs/msolechart.htm

If that does not work, fetch my Google results:

http://www.google.com/search?q=MS+Gr...e7&rlz=1I7SUNA

See a Microsoft option here, go towards bottom of page, give it time to load, a ton of reading:

https://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/li...ffice.10).aspx

More Google results:

http://www.google.com/search?q=Micro...e7&rlz=1I7SUNA

Good luck and welcome!

Up until now I have been walking them through the process of setting the references to include their version...

Is MS Graph really completely useless in Access 97? I uninstalled and re-installed to get the Office 97 version of MS Graph, but I see no way whatsoever to insert dynamic data into the chart. The wizard has got to be the worst wizard I've seen in Access, because it assumes way, way too much about what you want. And then when you click...

What I want to do is use automation to create an...

I am at my wit's end with the MS Graph object that can be placed on a form. I need to change the Chart type of multiple series of data. I need to control other properties as well. I'm fairly certain the code is correct as I've researched it. But I can never seem to get everything to work correctly. For example, I set 4 different series to...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
