Security Feature in MS Access

I have made application in Access (MDE file). It is working perfectly. However, is their any way to protect the data of Access Table, to avoid view/copy/alter the data?

I know that there is a security feature available in Access. But my problem is that my Boss asked me to create a form so that he himself put the password & if required, password may change. And If I set the password through Security feature already available, can I ignore them while opening the form, as I have already created login form through start-up. I do not want to put password twice.

I understand that you don't want to undo what has already been done, but it seems like the better method here would be to get rid of the log in form and just go with Access Database Password or, Access User Level Security (a little more secure).

However, if you did want/need to keep the form, you could use that form to store the password in a string and then shell it out when it is time to get through the Access database password (or user-level security).

This description of the process was helpful to me when I was trying to secure 3 databases with one security file, and only wanted to enter my password once to open all 3 databases. Single Password Entry

Hope this helps,
Brad.
