Hi

This is a follow-up post from my post (please click here) as CyberSoftHari suggested me to post it here.

These are the tables that I've made:

Schedules
-ScheduleID
-StartTime
-EndTime
-DayID*
-RoomID*

Day
-DayID
-Day

Room
-RoomID
-RoomName
-Description

Course
-CourseID
-Title
-Description

Sections
-SectionID
-Title
-Description

SectionSemester
-SectionID*
-SemesterID*
-ScheduleID*

Semester
-SemesterID
-Semester

Is it OK or NOT? Any suggestions please...

I tried to other forum, but they said that I you should alter my database design a bit, so that data entered by the user is stored in individual records in a table; then, you can much more easily use SQL to check to see if there is a schedule conflict.

By having a single field containing two pieces of data ('M' 'M/TH', for example,) it makes it extremely difficult to solve the issue using SQL.

Please help? Any suggestions please...
