debian build

hi all,

I want to build a debian package. this package contain nothing, but I just want a script to install mysql server using apt-get install.

how can I do that?

please help me.

Hi!
I'd say, create a dummy package!
You'll find instructions, if you search for
"HOWTO: Fix Missing ubuntu-minimal dependencies for Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft)"
on Google.

What exactly doesn't work? That method should work if everything is done correctly, so let's find the error.

Hi,

I'm not really sure if this is what you need but then again you said you need help in building a debian package. Well I found a tool that creates a debian based package for you it's called "Debian Package Maker".

You can download the binary and the source here:
