Default I Need A Good Python Book

I've tried using several online tutorials, and most of them are great, but I'd like to have a good Python book on hand. Any suggestions? One of my weak spots mentally, is that it has been hard to jump into programming quickly. I've studied HTML/XHTML and CSS, and I picked up on it pretty fast. My next goal is to learn a programming language, which will hopefully lead me to even more languages. I'm starting with Python, and actually already learned some of the basic Python commands. Again, I've been having a difficult time picking up on programming. When learning HTML, I used an O'Reilly book. It was pretty clear, and really helped me understand. I plan on doing the same for Python:

If you think there's a better book out there, let me know. I'm looking for one that gets my feet wet in the beginning, but makes me fairly proficient in the end.

I did get a book after doing some research. I found out that the book I was originally looking to buy was actually for experienced programmers. O'Reilly did have a beginners Python book though, and this is what I bought:

looks like u hv already bought one, but just in case, u might also consider learning python from o'reilly. i hv been using it for sometime now, and liked it a lot.
bulky, but very informative and good for both beginners as well as advanced users.

If you like code examples the "Python Cookbook" offers a fairly diverse set.
